A legal consultation concerning employment rights and obligations.

Employment Law

Advisory services and representation for employees and employers in employment matters and labour disputes.

Employment relationships require the careful alignment of employee and employer interests with statutory obligations and the organisation’s internal rules.

We advise companies and individuals on the establishment, duration, and termination of employment, as well as proceedings for the protection of employment rights.

We work with both employers and employees. We help employers set clear and lawful rules, and help employees protect their rights when they believe those rights have been violated.

Areas of Practice

  • Employment contracts and related documentation
  • Employer policies and general acts
  • Termination of employment
  • Disciplinary proceedings
  • Compensation for employment-related damages
  • Workplace harassment and discrimination
  • Representation in labour disputes

How We Help

For employers, we draft and align employment contracts, rulebooks and internal acts and advise before important decisions such as dismissal, transfer or redundancy.

For employees, we assess whether a dismissal or another decision of the employer is lawful, help gather evidence and bring proceedings for the protection of their rights before the court in time.

How We Work Together

  • Review of documents – we examine the employment contract, rulebooks and the disputed decision.
  • Risk assessment – we establish whether the law was followed and what the options are.
  • Negotiation – where it is in your interest, we seek an agreement.
  • Employment dispute – we represent you in court until the case is finally decided.

Good to Know

The deadline for challenging a decision that violates an employee's right is 60 days from the day the decision is delivered. Missing it can permanently prevent court protection, so advice should be sought as soon as the decision is received.

A well-structured employment relationship protects both the employer and the employee.
